- Assisting employer and employee in the industry to in the conclusion of collective bargaining agreements.
- Preventing disputes between the employers or employers’ organisations on the one hand and the employees, workers committees or trade unions on the other.
- Resolving disputes or settle disputes that have arisen or may arise between employers or employers’ organizations on the one hand and employees, workers committees or trade unions on the other
- Ensures that the provisions of any collective bargaining agreement or and any regulations pertaining to the employment relationship is adhered to.
